Kia ora, I’m Michelle. I am an innovative and motivated leader. I bring energy, inclusiveness, and a strong sense of purpose to my role as principal.

With a deep passion for te ao Māori, I am committed to creating a school culture where tikanga and te reo Māori are valued and celebrated. I have a particular love for Kapa Haka and take pride in supporting and growing this within our kura.

Sport has always been a big part of my life—while my body doesn’t always cooperate these days, I still bring the same enthusiasm for being active and encouraging tamariki to give everything a go. I believe every child deserves a champion—someone who sees their potential, lifts their mana, and walks alongside them on their learning journey.

I lead with heart, humour, and high expectations, and am dedicated to growing a school community where every learner feels seen, heard, and inspired to thrive.
