Kia ora, my name is Kirsten Kuhn, I am excited and grateful to be teaching in Ako Piwakawaka.

With just over 20 years of teaching experience, my philosophy of teaching is about learning through authentic experiences. I have an Honours degree in Learning Support and feel strongly about developing relationships of inclusivity and respect.

One of my passions is travelling with my whānau which helps develop an appreciation for others. I love teaching and inspiring young minds to be creative thinkers and independent learners through the development of relationships in my classroom. I value each and every child in my care
