Kia ora,
Ko Maureen Toki toku ingoa. I was born and bred in a small town, Okaihau, in the North. I have taught in Auckland and Whangarei, moving to the Waikato to be close to my moko.

I have many years of teaching experience within several schools and teaching all levels. But my passion is teaching 5 year olds. I love seeing the rapid progress within each child's academic learning, their socialising, and their independence as they begin their new learning journey at school.

My biggest goal as a teacher is to quickly build strong relationships with every child and their whānau, making all feel safe, supported, and a part of our friendly learning environment.
